A delicious and savoury pizza known as primo capicola normally has thinly sliced capicola as the primary topping. The classic Italian cured meat capicola, sometimes referred to as coppa, is produced from pig shoulder.
The thin crust of the pizza often has a crispy exterior and a soft interior. The tomato sauce, which adds a somewhat sweet and tangy flavour, is next spread over the crust.
The capicola is then topped with other complimenting ingredients like mozzarella cheese, chopped red onions, and fresh basil before being added to the tomato sauce. On top of the pizza, the mozzarella cheese is often perfectly melted, creating a gooey and flavorful layer.
